Bottle shared with Marko. Pours jet black with a brown head. Nose is intense chocolate, booze, wood and a touch of vanilla, in an outstanding balance. Taste is sweet booze, chocolate, raisins, nuts, a touch of vanilla and some wood, nice and round. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Nicely done, the barrel aging really adds additional layers to the base beer.

Bottle, thanks midovark! Pitch black initially - later proves to be dark, tiny off white head. Malty aroma, raisins, lean, sweetish, pleasant, with some whiskey barrel rounding it out. Taste... peaty notes mixing with cocoa and raisins, sweet, elegant, actually, wow this is nice! Some alcohol too. All in all, just slightly cloying in the end because of the peatiness, but this works!
