Keg at John Snow in Oxford Street area. It is sweet and cheerful. Easy drinking for a few pints. Dissapointing to read how it is made but hey, shows how artifical my thinking can be.

Keg @ Cittie of Yorke, London. Pours clear gold. Fruity medium-sweet nose. Pleasant medium character, stewed fruit, some unexpected smoky notes, light skin. Not bad, just unsure about the smoky elements.

Keg at Ye Olde Swiss Cottage. It pours clear golden with with a small fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet, sugary, cheap apple juice, earthy, light barnyard and apple pie. The taste is initially crisp, plenty of sugary sweetness, apple juice from concentrate, appletiser and candy with a touch of dryness through the finish. Light - medium body and fine, effervescent carbonation. A bit sweet and one - dimensional. Fair at best.

Tap at Swan and Three Cygnets, Sam Smiths, Durham. Clear yellow colour, short lived white foam head and sugary apple aroma. Sweet apple flavour with straw, dry sour, and woody notes. Syrupy mouthfeel, light bodied, medium to spritzy carbonation, lingering sweet tangy woody finish. OK.
