Matched alongside takeaway pizza and it was a good pairing. Strong bitter hops cut through the cheese and it was served chilled to help deal with the salt and the richness. Very nice.

500ml bottle: BBE Dec 17. Poured into an Abbot Ale badged glass tankard at home on 17th Mar 17 during a ’random tasting evening’ with myself. Snow white foaming head on a clear amber body, clean and bright looking. Aroma leans towards citrusy tropical fruits, the taste follows the same lines but with a mild malty base. Taste gets more bitter and citrusy towards the end of each sip/gulp. Dry finish, too many semi-sour/bitter citrus flavours for me, but a decent enough beer: might be better in Cask form within a pub with mates.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Golden colour with a thin white head. Orange tropical fruit and floral aroma. Taste more citrus orange to a light pithy bitter finish.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Very faint lacing. Aroma of grain, biscuit and earth. Flavour of pale malt, marmalade and bitter orange pith. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. Crisp and simple. I’d like to try this on cask.

Bottled 330ml. -at Le Šenk Bratislava. Golden coloured, minimal white head, dusty cidery nose. Sweetish malty, fruity, light herbal hoppy and dry bitterish finish. Pretty thin overal, expected better beer.

Flaske 330ml spandert av og delt med Rune på Nerstranda 10 Des. 14. Gylden. Lavt skum. Svakt karamellaktig aroma. Smaken er søt frukt som blir syrlig etter hvert. I søtligste laget.
