Perfect Storm is an absurdly hopped rendition of Super Typhoon; the most kingly and intense of our weather series! Featuring boatloads of Simcoe & Citra hops, perfect storm pours a glowing orange in the glass and carries flavors and aromas of earthy citrus, cantaloupe, papaya, and strawberry banana. Perfect Storm’s hop leanings are more intense and resinous, with tongue coating fruity hop oils and a firm, lingering bitterness. This one will evolve beautifully in the can with time and reveal layers of additional complexity through cold conditioning.

Thanks Greg.
Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance is in the picture.

Aroma: citrusy, bananas, strawberries, subtle danky character, sweet onions, and a light clean maltiness
Flavor: blends all of those prior noted aromas to an elegant soothing bittersweet character; finishes mostly with the bananas, more of mixed berry and subtle onions
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper; very smooth on the tongue, light bitterness
Overall: of course I would return to this

Charlton draught, 1/7/25.
Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden. Medium-sized, off-white head.
Bit of a timid nose, at least at first. Bright guava, pineapple, pine and grapefruit with biscuit and cracker from the malt. Clean, no resin or twang.
Juicy, with lots more tropical fruit and a light pine edge. But not acidic or resinous, of course. Round, soft, juicy, malty. Lots of cracker and biscuit. Lingering pineapple, grapefruit and strong spice. Bit of light cherry in there too. Very fruity and ebullient. Some light chalky dryness on the very end, not problematic. A more reserved, studious On the Fly with a bit less tropical juice and more biscuity dryness throughout.

Malmö July tasting at Palace Hall (08/07/2023) - intense juicy fruity aroma and taste, layers of tropical and citrus fruit stacking up, some light hop spice bite, creamy sweet malts, assertive hoppy finish. Very nice.

Can, from the brewery. Extremely hazy bright yellow with a large foamy off-white head, peach-citrus aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter unripe mango-citrus peel-peach taste, alcohol undertones, somewhat thick body, long medium bitter finish. Flavorful.

Can split at the 'fuck me it's Kenny; tasting, thanks to Dave - Watford, 25/06/21. Murky orange with a decent white cap. Nose is ripe tropical fruits, pine needle, light weed, dank nip, grapefruit. Taste comprises pine resin, ripe melon, pineapple, grass, mixed tropical fruit esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly dankened hop bitterness. Decent DIPA ... good raw and bitter edge to it.
