Bottle. Malty and hoppy aroma and taste, citrus fruit, light roasty notes, medium bitter. Medium body, malty and hoppy bitter finish. Good.

Bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde. Hazy black with a stable, small, foamy, beige head. Aroma of raw liquorice, peanut, prune, orange peel, black tea, sweetened fondant, toast, grapefruit peel. Taste has sweetish prune & sugared dark chocolate on a nutty-toasty body, some orange peel & pink grapefruit. Dry, herbal hoppy finish, more black tea-like, dried dark fruit accent but turning ashy (toast, tobacco) in the very end. Low rum-like alcohol warmth. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice brew, bit too herbal maybe.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a creamy and lacing, beige head. Citrusy hops dominate the aroma completely, hardly any roast to be detected. Medium body, sweet licorice, some slightly greasy/dirty notes but enough of nice, citrusy hops to carry through. Rather solid bitterness. Good for most parts. 070820

Clear black beer, small creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, soft roast, grains, some coffee, nice. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice roast, good bitterness, hoppy, more roasted malts, grains, some citrus, dank hops. Aftertaste: more fruity, good roast, lovely, malty, some more citrus, good BIPA, we need more beers in this style!

Ok bipa, rösti ja mõrudust on, magusust ka, aga tasakaal ja maitsebukett ei ole väga tasakaalus.

Ciemne, nieprzejrzyste, gęsta piana jak na azocie. Aromat rześki, intensywny. Żywica, cytrusy, słonecznik, nieco czekolady i kawy. W smaku wytrawnie, chmielowo. Żywica, cytrusy, czekolada, kawa, słonecznik. Zadziwiająco mało ciała i słodyczy. Jak na black IPA to całkiem wysoka paloność. Niskie wysycenie. Goryczka średnia do niskiej, przyjemna, ziołowo-żywiczna. Bardzo dobra, pijalna DBIPA, prosimy o więcej takich na rynku.

Butelka. Barwa ciemna, ale nie wymagajcie określenia jaka konkretnie, bo po ciemku piłem. Aromat nienachalnych cytrusów, trochę brzoskwinia-mango, trochę prażonego słonecznika, trochę kawy zbożowej. Dupy nie urywa. W smaku dość wytrawnie (hurra!), jest prażony słonecznik, nie ma zbyt dużo kawy i czekolady (czyli tak jak lubię). Ale... To piwo sprawia wrażenie cienkiego jak desitka. Pierwszy lepszy dry stout jest w ustach gęstszy i pełniejszy. Nie tego się spodziewałem, nie to pewnie chciał osiągnąć piwowar. Jakby mi napisali Session Black IPA i miało te wyczuwalne 3% alk. to brałbym wiadrami. A tak lekkie rozczarowanie.

Świetna Black IPA. Jest cytrusowe, żywiczne, czekoladowe, gładkie. Idealne wysycenie, ładny lacing.
