Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Hazy ruby-amber with a thin white head. Notes of dried fruit, cherries. Medium to full body, smooth texture and a bitter-sweet aftertaste.

Pours a slightly hazy coppery color, topped with a medium sized off-white head, pretty lasting. Biscuity malt with some plums in the nose. Sweet and full malty taste. Biscuity with some alcohol warmth. Minimal bitterness. Medium body with sparkly feel.

Bottle from Village De La Bière, Strasbourg consumed at Camping Trois Château Eguisheim Wednesday 23rd June 2016. Thoroughly enjoyed this Barley Wine, hadn’t really got a clue what to expect but this was a big ballsy number, seems quite true to style and displaying many of the usual traits that I would expect from a Barley Wine, there is hoppiness but more big chewy fruit and toffee, lots of full on flavour in the mouth. Good beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Thnx to Ben ! Pours clear amber, good white head. smell is fresh, bitter, bit sweet. Taste is sharp, sweet, very full, rather thick MF, low carbo. Simple, and sweet, but just the way I like my Barley wine’s !

Amber color with white head. Aroma is caramel, some fermented fruits. Taste is fruity, malty, a bit boozy, phenolic, but overall quite light for a Barleywine. Foamy carbonation. Many levels beyond top Barleywines, and quite pointless/uninspired.

Dunkel malziger, recht süß alkoholischer Beginn. Dennoch weich, hell, süffig. Helles Malz, minimale Herbe. Harmonisch, gut! 13/10/11/12//12

Bottle @ home. Clear dark orange to amber color, medium to full sized dense beige head. Aroma is quite faint, hardly get any aroma at all. Taste also is faint, quite dull and just not a lot to it at all. Malts, sweet-bitter, malt bitter. Medium body, medium carbonation. Nothing bad but just really uninteresting.

Bottle. Brown, big golden brown lacing head. Fresh nutty malty, aromatic hoppy nose. Medium body, sparkles, a hint stickiness. Toasted notes, caramel, good hop profile, roasted nut and toffee finish. Dangerously drinkable.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for sharing! Smooth intense sticky beginning. Sweetish with hints of grain. Nice sweetish malt, not too much depth but nice and round.
