16 oz. can from Lucky's Market. Pours a crystal clear deep gold color with a large white head and very good retention. Spots of lacing. Juicy hops aroma. Tastes like a mix of pale lager and a light IPA. Maybe an IPL? Starts with a grainy lager flavor and finishes with a mellow, citrusy hop taste. Crisp and clean mouthfeel. Thin, light body. Not bad, depending on your expectation. Hop heads will be disappointed, lager lovers will find it approachable.

Pour is a clear orange with a average white head. Aroma is some orange peel not much else. Flavor is again some minor orange but way weak and watery. The aroma was better than the flavor. Drinkable but forgettable.

Pours amber with a thick white head. Aroma of light hops. Taste is relatively flat, mild malt and hop bite. Mild resinous notes and grassy hop note on the palate. Weak.

Bottle, no dating.
Nice bubbly gold colour, head of foam is on the small side but is long lasting.
I get some sweet malt notes in the smell. Little bit of citrus. Little bit fruity.
Malt is kinda sweet, some citrus, some grass but to be honest, this doesn't taste very fresh.
Watery finish. It's in the mixed 6pack so I don't have to drink it again. I like most of the brewery's offerings but not this one; I doubt I will ever find a fresh one of these

12oz bottle. I really find the term Session IPA to be misleading this case, mostly because this isn't hoppy enough to be an IPA of any sort. It drinks like a Golden Ale. Not bad, just very middle of the road, malt centered. Probably more sessionable than a true Session IPA, pretty balanced, smooth. A little bit of a skunky macro feel. OK for what it is: a Session Ale, not a Session IPA.

Cans sent by Shiner for review, after hoisting couches around. Quite foamy pour, over a golden yellow fizzy beer body. Smell is mild maltiness, just a slight edge of hoppiness. Pleasantly balanced session ale taste, with a rather surprising note of sweet orange up front. There is some nice texture, but it's not too filling. Meets the requirements of the Session Ale style, and today, that's what I needed.
