Marvelling at the fruity aromatics of new age hops we have uncovered a combination that could be hung in the stars as a constellation. Harnessing the power of Galaxy's tropical hop notes through dry hopping, electric yuzu blasts off to stratospheric levels of vibrancy. A mouth-watering, otherworldy, citrus blast. Ingredients: Malted barley, malted wheat, oats, yuzu zest, hops, yeast.

Bottle, small stable creamy head, hazy quite deep orange colour, over ripe oranges, plaster, fruit candy, some flowerines in the back, light bitterness, light to medium sweetness, hint of sourness. Fair.

Bottle at home, 30th October 2021. Pours a clear golden, some floaters. Aroma is citrus, yuzu, tart fruits. Taste is slightly strange, the Yuzu I guess, sherbert, citrus, light sour. Not bad

375 ml green bottle, from Vinmonopolet Klepp. ABV is 8.8%. Hazy golden to dirt brown colour, lots of lumpy yeast floaties. Large white head. Aroma of yuzu zest and citric hops. The flavour is sweet and sour, with a distinct citric fruity acidity, yuzu zest and spicy yeast galore, also citric Galaxy hops.

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy golden body with a few bits floating beneath a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Aroma of lemon, hops, orange rind and lychee. Flavour of cloudy lemonade and mint. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. This is only the second Vault City beer I’ve tried but I think they’re amazing. It’s a β€˜wow’ experience when you first try them. Unique, slightly sour and worth the (not insignificant) price.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy deep golden - orange with a frothy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, zingy, tangy, sherbet, citrus fun times, yuzu, lemon-lime, satsuma and sour candy. The taste is tart, tangy, juicy, sour, musty, sweaty, quick thick, zingy citrus, yuzu, pithy satsuma, melon, greengage, lime, pineapple, some mid palate bitterness, some booze, pine, soor plooms and damp wood. Finish woody and tangy. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Sits a bit heavy on the palate if truth be told. Decent enough, but a bit substandard for Vault City.

Very good, very dense & fine yellowish head over fully hazy golden-ochre beer. End of bottle serious collection of UFO's. Exotic fruit nose, citrus. Bit soapy, alternative skin products. Hints of crisps, nuts, wet dog. Sharp-ish citrus flavour, soon overtaken by a rather bitterish-sweet flavour, both hops and (toasted) malts. There's again this body-shop aromatics retronasal. Mild acidity with -thinning and -burn: quite slick, all in all. Feels spritzy. Not bad, but not really special, but for the yuzu ingredient.

Aroma is tart funky notes with yuzu and zesty citrusy notes of orange, tangerines and lime, as well as tropical hoppy notes of stone fruits, kiwis, litchi and grassy minerals. Creamy body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is grassy, tropical hops with guava, over ripe stone fruits, musty fruit peel and kiwis, as well as lactic notes with yuzu, zesty orange, lime and grapefruit. Lactic and dry musty minerals in the finish.
