Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Burning Sky online. Pours deep blood red with a frothy, pink head. Has some rich, fleshy tart cherry character, sturdy acidity, modest funk, some old wood, light acetic bite, berry seeds. Medium bodied with active carbonation. Quenching finish, more bright and tart and juicy cherry character, cleansing acidity, pleasant dryness. Great stuff overall.

Bottle shared with my bro. It pours cloudy deep purple with a medium frothy off-white head. The aroma is bright, tangy, zingy, juicy ripe cherry, vinous, jammy, sour and zingy, sweet bakewell tart, sour candy, granny smith apple and fizzy cherry cola bottles. The taste is dry, tangy and juicy, rich ripe cherry character, so much cherry, jammy, tart, light pucker, fizzy cherry cola bottles, vinous, cherry pie, some drying wood and earth with a tangy cherry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Very balanced and fruity. Maybe not so much depth though. Very drinkable anyhow.

Bottle at home, from BS online, 02/08/20. Deep cherry red with a handsome crimson cap that stays for the show. Nose is big cherry stones, funk, wood must, cherry pipe tobacco, barnyard esters. Taste comprises tarte cherry skins, funk, balanced acidity, berry funk, light dry rot effect, cherry stones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with a gentle acidic rise. Solid sour ... supremely balanced and flavoursome.
