A hoppy brown ale brewed with Muscovado sugar and cacao nibs to balance the bitterness of healthy doses of American hops. It has a nutty flavour with subtle hints of liquorice coming through, giving the beer complexity that satisfies the palate.

Bottle from Trafalgar Wines Brighton. Black dark brown beer lasting thick tan head. Good brown ale. Almost american style brown ale. That mix of chocolate malt and lime. Good carbonation. Decent malty hoppy brown ale. Some bitterness.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; dark opaque brown pour with a massive frothy light tan head, aroma has pine and some chocolate action, taste has chocolate, some red fruits, light pine, taste a bit like a BIPA.

Keg. Leeds International Beer Festival. Hazy, chestnut brown. Messy, sticky, cream head. Nose of praline. Brûléed grapefruit. Chocolate. Choc Ice. My notes state curried hop (?). Taste is smooth, rich, cocoa bitter. Creamy palate. Bitter, and light dry finish.
