A classic Bavarian wheat beer, brewed right here in London by us. Enticing aromas of cloves and banana bread, gently malt body and a refreshing finish. Prost!

33cl can from Beer52.com. A pale straw coloured pour, slightly hazy with a tight white head; the aroma has some banana and spice; rather thin in the mouth with a banana taste; then a dry fruity finish with a trace of coriander. Lacking the depth of a German or Belgian wheat beer.

Can from Butch Annie’s, Cambridge. Light yellow, cloudy. Lost about 30% when opening the can. Lemon, some light banana. Taste is pleasantly bitter, but has an astringency I’d be tempted to associate with US macro lagers. Thin body. Minimal carbonation. Not keen on this one.

Can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeast, banana, some tropical fruit. The flavour is light acid citrus with a big yeast bitter, soft citrus palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.
