Brewed in collaboration with Wright Bros Ltd; This stout is brewed with Morecambe Bay & Lindisfarne Oysters. We added the shells, flesh and liquor to provide a creamy, rich mouthfeel. Expect intense roastiness with subtle savoury and briney notes from the oysters leading to a sweet, silky finish.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Black beer lasting tan head. Rich stout. Like a lot of oyster stouts, itโs rich and rather lovely. Velvety. Some dark chocolate. Some coffee. Rather good I thought.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from the brewery. Pours rich brown-black with a fluffy beige head. Moderate roasted malt aroma, with accents of scorched earth and leaves. Light sweet flavour with hard, ashy roast, tea bag-like astringency, bitter cocoa, scorched earth. Light bodied with relatively soft carbonation; the conditioning seems a little off. Abrasive, moderately astringent, and harsh on the finish. Drying, and not in a good way. Lingering hard, bitter dirt and ash in the aftertaste. Some ashy tobacco. Something seems amiss here. The drinkability factor is quite low, which is rare for a BBNo beer.
