Late to the party (hops fade in 16 days) bottle at home, from HOTM online, 27/09/20. Cmon the Royals ! Hazed orange golden with a well presented lasting white cap. Nose is orange wine gums, grass, melon, hop dusting, tangerine. Taste comprises orange pith, light minerality, grass, melon, hint of pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced light juicy to leafy hop bitterness. Decent easy drinking pale.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. I could have beers from 30 different brewers in the fridge, but along with St Mars of the Desert, Kernel are the ones I go to first, guaranteed. This is great. Some creamy malt. Hops are coming across all pineapple and pink grapefruit. Smooth as you like. Quenching citrus bitterness. Top tier.

Light haze on this slightly pale gold beer, tiny pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a mild dryness, decent fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. You rarely see Sticklebract hops used outside of Kernel brews and I don't understand why. Lovely candy and tropical fruits with a good pine overlay. A light yellow grapefruit. Piney peach. Not getting much Zeus filth here, that's fine by me, sit back and glory in the Sticklebract hops presented in a glorious pale ale by a master brewery.

Bottle at home picked up from Trembling Madness. An attractive, a mostly clear golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is nice white grape, melon, light straw, floral elderflower, light orange, honey suckle. Flavour is composed of soft straw, bready grains, melon, grass, light pine needles, earthy citrus. Super drinkable. Palate is soft, airy carbonation, light resin, semi dry finish. Great stuff.
