Taster showing moderately filtered lightly hazy straw with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows pronounced notes of clean mango and a strong NE style malt/adzuki note throughout. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Pineapple and mango forward with a light malt backbone and subtle sweetness. Mild grapefruit bitterness on the finish. Very crushable.

Canned on 1-28-19. Hazy appearance. Aroma is decent citrus, mild grass, soft yeast. Flavor is the same. Good amount of juice. Mosaic or galaxy must be used with this level of grassiness. Nice but overhyped.

Fresh can, undated, drunk 1/16/19.
Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden with a small, off-white head that fades steadily to a ring.
Juicy, for sure, in the nose, though with lots of dough, cracker and biscuit and a bit of pine to go along with it. Not one of the softer, glass of orange juice IPAs I've smelled, but it's fine. Tons of orange, lime, mango and tangerine with less base malt character (no big honey is what's missing here, if you like that sort of thing). Yeast is fruity and shows minimal bubble gum-like character. Light sharpness on the end from alcohol.
In the mouth it's cracker-forward with moderate juiciness and still a good amount of pine and grapefruit. Not as soft in texture as I'd like, though it's reasonably well-attenuated and tightly carbonated. Just a bit crusty/bready/crackery without enough supple honey-like base malt character and more pine and light alcohol than I'd like. Still, it's a competent orange juice IPA, I suppose.

This is a NEIPA done right! Pours a very hazy, orange-yellow (looks just like orange juice, imagine). Aromas of citrus and sour washcloth. Flavor is citrus, with a ton of pine/spruce hop bite. It's smooth, not overly sweet, with a very bitter finish. Really well-done beer.
