Bottle at home. Aroma of wheat, banana, sweet ripe fruits, floral notes, hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Body is medium. Another fine Hopfen Weisse from Oldskool, I’m really enjoying this series of beers.

Fles geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een troebel oranje bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige geur. De smaak is moutig en zoetig, beetje gistachtig en wat hoppig.

330ml bottle. Murky, orangey golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity and minimally floral hoppy aroma, vinous fruity notes of grapes, tropical fruity hints of passion fruit, mild yeasty spiciness is minimally peppery, hints of clove. Taste is fairly sweet, moderately bitter hoppy, hints of grapes, wheaty basis, notes of banana, a touch of citrus, almost jelly bear-like fruitiness (a peach, apricot and passion fruit-mixture), slightly alcoholic finish. Heavy, clumsy, sweet and sticky.

Bottle @ home while watching GER - UKR. Pretty fresh and hoppy brew with not too much of the weizen flavours. That’s probably why I like it. Medium body, medium body.

post Borefts train to Amsterdam. Very hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and crisp. Banana esters. Modest spice. Little dried fruits. Airy finish. Estery linger. Mild bitterness. Not bad, but much like the Ella version - what’s the point of the single hop? Tastes pretty much the same as the Ella version.
