Bottle. Dark golden with short lasting head. Funky, sour grains, oak, deep wet funk, a touch of rhubarb but not a huge amount. Medium sour, a bit less sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied. Good lambic!

4/II/23 - 75cl bottle @ Nieuwjaarsreceptie Gentse Biervereniging, BB: n/a (2023-113) Thanks for sharing the bottle!

Little cloudy orange to almost amber beer, small creamy white head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very funky, very oxidized, dusty, mushroom, wet cellar, musty, a little herbal, meh. Not very good. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: ah, there’s the rhubarb all right! A nice acidity, a little oxidized, musty, cellar, funky brett notes, a bit lemony, a gentle bright acidity shining through. Aftertaste: almost sweet, a bit oxidized, some caramel, nice rhubarb flavours, lovely!

Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy reddish orange, fast disappearing white head. Aroma: Tart, fruity rhubarb, funky hints. Taste: Light to moderate tart, farmyard funk, quite a lot of fruity rhubarb. Earthy. Notes of greens and minerals. Medium body, (just) below average carbonation. Dry-ish mouthfeel, going to a dry and bit astringent finish. Never tasted this much rhubarb in any other beer I've had. Nice one.

Bottle, 750 ml at Ambasada. Courtesy of Zec and Tomi. Cloudy reddish orange with small white head. Some light fruity notes, wood and I guess some rhubarb. Light funk, medium sourness. Just OK.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is rhubarb forward with lighter notes of lemon and stone fruit. Faint grain notes and oak. Light earthy, herbal phenolics with a faint musty note. Pours a fairly clear, orangish red with amber hues and a medium large, thick, frothy, slightly pink head that recedes quickly to a small film that lingers for a bit on the edges. No lacing and faint legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with a light sweetness and faint grain notes. Low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong rhubarb notes with hints of lemon, stone fruit and pear. Light earthy, herbal and musty notes. Faint phenolics. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid lambic with nice rhubarb notes. Not too acidic, but the base lambic could use a bit more funk.

Head gone in seconds, sticky bubbles in metallic orangey golden beer. End of bottle solid whatever. Sourish barnyard nose, fruity, vegetables and lactic acid. Sulphury accents, oriental vegetable oils. Vegetable and lactic acids, rhubarb indeed, sour grapes. Bit of rubber, again sulphury. Acidthinning, light acidburn, almost no carbonation. Good agreable lambic, not spectacular.
