Have guitar, will travel. Check. Have mash paddle, will travel. Check. Have invitation to Berlin to brew, will travel. Hell yeah. Cue our friend Todd Haug. He checked all those boxes and joined us to make this inspired and unique creation. Our Stone Berlin Brewmaster Thomas Tyrell has spent many years studying and brewing versions of the consummate Berlin style, the Berliner Weisse. Todd was intrigued with the idea of überizing (wasn't a real word before, but it is now) the style and wanted to further überize (how quickly a new word can find its wayinto the lexicon) with the addition of ginger root and Citrus Hystrix leaf. They worked perfectly, as you'll see. Todd, Thomas and Greg all agreed they'd never tasted anything quite like it before, and that they all loved it. So now, it has traveled time and space to you. Check it!

Bottled 750ml. -at Kiselo Druženje 2018. Slightly unclear golden coloured, small white head, light lime and cirtusy nose. Cirtusy, light spicy, mild notes of lime and grapefruit with moderate strong ginger notes. Tartish finish. Pleasant.

0.75l bottle - huge thanks Sandi for sharing this! Hazy golden body, white head. Nice aroma for the style, lime and lactic tartness. Surprisingly sweetish taste, lime and spices, ending slightly soapy, vague malty touches and a very light bitterness. Herbal? Slightly garbled notes. An interesting experiment that I'm glad to have tried, but expected more for the price.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing. Looks good in the glass, zippy, small head. Fruity aroma like lemonade. Starts bitter with notes of grapefruit, light sourish, more bitter. Woody-dry background. Interesting.

Fantastic floral nose. The beer starts smooth and mild. Fruity with a floral depth, smooth not too sour, hints of sweetness with a fantastic smooth floral body. The aftertaste is round and smooth, sourish round, refreshing with a great but somehow too sweetish aftertaste with sourish endings. Fantastic though.
