Pours pretty dark for a pale ale. King of takes the pale out of it. Ok hoppy feel. Finishes a little sour and mostly forgettable. On tap at Metropole.

Aroma: Bready, dusty caramel and some light fruit
Taste: Caramel, grains, herbal and salty
A decent, easy drinking pale ale.

11.2 oz bottle into English pint. Aroma is caramel malt, citrus powder, wet river rocks, metal. Pours a bright copper hue with a medium-sized head that recedes after a few minutes, leaving a fine blanket of foam. Taste is sweet with a touch of sour and very little bitterness; tastes a bit grainy, somewhat like corn muffins. Medium to high carbonation with a medium body and a long grainy finish. Drinkable, but nothing really stands out. Pretty boring.

Amber color. Light aroma, light caramel flavor, very dry, helped also by strong and metallic bitterness. The mountain label is the only nice thing here. Useless.

On tap - pours a golden yellow with a light head. Flavour is a little wheaty with mild hops. Nothing spectacular.

BC has too many of these bland uninteresting pale ales.Amber with scarce bead and small beige head. Light malt taste, barely noticeable hops. Another transition micro.

Bright copper colour. Light caramel and earthy English hop aroma. Light bitterness and a sligth caramel accent. Vaguely earthy finish. Clean, smooth. A somewhat "mainstream micro" character, it’s enjoyable when very fresh but may not translate well after a month or two on the shelves.
