Cask Notes - Old Henry is available in cask in the Autumn.

Auburn with a thin, creamy head. Aroma of wet oak, dates, spices—mostly pepper, butterscotch. Taste is mildly bitter, crisp, with a herbal note and some mild caramel sweetness underneath. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle from Asda, BBE in 12 months. Pours copper, large beige head. Chocolate, roasted malts, stone fruit aroma. Taste is malty with earthy hops, pepper, yeast and stone fruits. Quite smooth and low carbonation. I found this brew a bit too rich rather than moorish. However it certainly packs a punch.

Medium amber with a fluffy off-white head, and a malty and fruity aroma. The taste is sweet, dark fruits on top of chewy malt, akin to a mildly spiced fruit cake, with a hint of peppery hops. Has a smooth mouthfeel and a lasting finish

500ml bottle picked up @ Hobsons Brewery, Cleobury Mortimer. Pours a clear amber, medium off-white head. Taste takes a caramel malt tangent, perhaps a little cake-like, alluding to sweet ginger cake without the ginger. Really a lovely fruity malty amber beer.

11/2/2019. Bottle from Tuffins Supermarket, Craven Arms. Poured amber with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, citrus fruits, hops and dried fruit. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft to flat carbonation.

On tap. Fast klare kräftig goldene Farbe, mittelgroße weiße schaumkrone. Geruch ist angenehm grasig hopfig, floral bitter, frisch. Geschmack ist angenehm frisch grasig hopfig, schlank, leicht trocken, lecker!

11-01-17 // on tap at wir komplizen, Frankfurt. Light hazy light golden beer, small white head. Taste is dominated by a solid bitter hop note, with light malty background. Decent.
