330 ml can, as Dark Star APA, from Ales by Mail. ABV is 4.7%. Overcarbonated, slightly gushing can, the glass fills completely by white foam. When the beer appears underneath, it is pale golden. The huge head lasts "forever". Strong and pleasant aroma of fruity and piney American hops. Distinctly hoppy flavour on a moderately sweet base, tropical fruits, grapefruit, pine needles and resin. Bitter finish.

Last stop on today beer tour. The Victoria, Lincoln. This beer was a welcome surprise to see on this area. With its golden colour, white head. It had a fruity citrus aroma with a light bitterness throughout. Nice.

Can. Cheap booze shop on Sharrowvale, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Good, dense, lasting, off white head. Sweet, soft toffee malts. Pithy orange hop. Some mineral. Hint of strawberry. Taste is light sweet, then mineral, pithy bitter. Light body. Foamy carbonation. Shortish, pithy finish.

On cask at The Vailant Trooper, Aldbury. Smooth floral beginning. Lots of smooth malt and floral intense hops. Sticky herbal pine and resin on a great Ale body. Fresh and dry in the aftertaste, round and smooth. Nice beer!

Can sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. As Dark Star APA. Golden. Aroma of rather stale hops, a bit piney. Flavor has sweetish malt and bitterish stale hops. Light to medium-bodied.

How have I not yet rated this one? Cask at the Eagle, Cambridge. Dark gold, extremely clear. Very little head or lacing. Peach, resin, bread and grass aroma. Sweet nectary taste with a bitter tinge. Citrus and astringency in the long finish. Full and slightly sticky body. Very well done.
