The beer pours golden honey with a white head of tight bubbles that dissipates to leave lacing around the glass.
The aroma is hoppy, lemony, honey, peach and dried apricots.
The palate is clean, with sweet malt, lemony and tropical pineapple notes, honey with zesty citrus notes. There is a dry lingering hop bitterness on the finish.
Brewed by Westerham Brewery Company Ltd. for M&S.

500ml bottle. Milky, orangey, golden colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy, leafy, mildly fruity, minimally citrusy, hoppy aroma, hints of red berries, leaves and shrubs. Taste is sweet-ish pale malty, similarly mixed and washy, hence rather unspecific grassy, leafy and fruity hoppy, with hints of lemon tea, red berries and everything and nothing between.

500ml bottle at home on 16th Feb 2017: poured into a UK straight sided pint sleeve. Clear and clean, light amber body\: thin wispy head. Nice blend of hops with the two malts balancing out the taste and aroma well. If anything the Caramalt is more dominant than all nine hop varieties because there is a slight caramel lead in both the nose and flavour. Liked it.

0.5l bottle. Hopy aroma with soft malty notes, pine, citruses. Hazy amber color, white head. Hopy taste, higher but pleasant bitterness. Medium body, watery texture, soft to average carbonation and hopy, bitter finish. Good.

Bottle from M and S. Appearance - golden amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - lemon pith, mineral and biscuits. Taste - more dry biscuits, and sharp lemon pith following it through. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a bit sharp but did the trick at this point.

Bottle from Marks & Spencer, Halifax. Clear golden with a thin head. Hoppy, but not overly so despite its name. Has a good fruitiness to it.

Okay hop aroma, has modest white head and a clear gold body. Flavour is vague English bitter notes with strong hops. Medium finish. Just adequate and nothing more.

Bottle. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Malty pale ale, with some hay, hint of stone fruits and moderately bitter finish. Ok.
