Brewed with 9 Kent bred and grown hops:
WGV, Early Choice Goldings, Bramling Cross, Progress, Target, Pilgrim, First Gold, Sovereign and Finchcock's Spirit of Kent
The beer pours golden honey with a white head of tight bubbles that dissipates to leave lacing around the glass.
The aroma is hoppy, lemony, honey, peach and dried apricots.
The palate is clean, with sweet malt, lemony and tropical pineapple notes, honey with zesty citrus notes. There is a dry lingering hop bitterness on the finish.
Brewed by Westerham Brewery Company Ltd. for M&S.

Tight white head left a rocky top on an unclear finely carbonated pale amber coloured body.
Bitter, pithy & well hopped aroma.
Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with lively cloying back.
Pale malt, caramel, marmalade, resin & zesty citrus tastes with a tangy finish.
Well balanced EIPA - Good one from M&S.

An IPA that it is brewed on the English way, dominant side of leman, rather dry and herbal, a bit rough at the palate, hoppy, not floral, 31.10.19, at one mark&spencer at Paris, trying it at Epalinges.

Bottle. Clear amber with small white head. Aroma of malts, light caramel, apple. Taste of caramel, malts, tangy citrus, light yeast, apple skins, grass. Light bodied, semi-drying finish, modest bitterness. Balanced, light, easy drinking., Nothing particularly exciting here but reasonable hopping for a traditional bottled ale and quite tasty.

50cl bottle pours a clear orange with plenty of white head. Nose is what you expect, some floral hop, light citrus, treacle, grist. Flavor is sweet with malt and lightly herbal. Medium bodied and lightly herbal.

500ml bottle from M&S, Camden Town on 20th November 2020. Pours a bright amber with almost no foam or lace. Grassy hoppiness in aroma with citrus hints. Tangy citrus and grassy hoppiness in-mouth with caramel maltiness. Sweetish, fruity finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a fair amount of body.

Kentish pale ale commissioned by Marks & Spencer, apparently with nine hop varieties; 50 cl bottle straight from England, thanks Jean! Thickly cobweb-lacing, medium sized, stable, off-white head, lightly hazy orangey golde hue with vivid sparkling. Aroma of warm cloth, camomile tea, moist white pepper, dried apple peel, turnip, field herbs, potato peel, bread crust. Cleanly fruity onset, dryish with very restrained sweetishness of unripe banana and dried apricot, light sourish note, medium carbonation, slick and bit soapy mouthfeel. Bread crust-like, lightly nutty malt body, lean and thinnish with minerally side notes, leading to a gently bittering, florally hopped finish with soft peppery notes and mild retronasal dried herb qualities. Correct and quaffable English pale ale, but from a beer claiming to contain no less than nine hop varieties, I must say I expected more noble hop aroma and more bitterness.
