Bottle: Pours clear, deep amber with a short, off-white head. Malty, fruity aroma...a little banana bread. Bready malt taste....a little stale. Flat and oxidized..... Too bad, undoubtably much better if fresh.

Bottle: Nose is light sugar, malt, touch of caramel. Taste some summer fruits particularly berries, leading to cereal and a lightly bitter, surprisingly hoppy, herbal finish, with a very faint hint of resin. Mouth feel is reasonably full. This is a lovely bitter, and much better than I expected.

500ml bottle from Beer Hawk - Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is dark malty. Roasted and dry malty flavoured. Smooth roasted and malty flavoured. Bitter and malty finish.

Cask at Crown Rivers JDW LHR T5 - 29/02/12. Dark golden colour with a fluffy off-white head. Faint toasted malts on the nose allied to a little hop aroma. Fruity flavours form the backbone - subdued grapefruit, a little kiwi and some citrus and a touch of caramel. Medium bodied - dry finish.
