Cask at the wharf. A lightly hazy, golden beer with some bubbles on top. Smelling the beer, itโs clearly some infection going on. Some citrusy hops in the back. The flavor is equally bad, clearly infected, and with a citrusy flavor and bitterness. Medium body, quite soft on the palate. I guess itโs the pub thatโs the problem, at least I hope so. Cask at The Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a fine, foam head. Faint toasted malt and hay aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor with hints of toast, light dirt and faint, leafy bitterness. Light in body with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with lightly toasted grass bitterness, light toast and burnt sugar. Nothing wrong with this one.

Bottle. Amber beer with a strongish soon dissipating head. The aroma is highly bitter and toffee, and the flavour is the same, very well hopped, with heavy bitterness and toffee. Overall a good well flavoured and strong bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at Watford beer festival 2011, Herts. A golden/amber coloured pour with a small white head on top. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Tastes malty, fruity, vaguely hoppy but all over the place. I usually like Mordue but this was poor.

Cask @ Crown and Anchor, Findhorn.......Golden lager-colour, clear with 1cm white head....Aroma of light malt, bit of bitter hop, slight citrus..Taste of biscuity malt, slight fruit, bitter hopping and a bit of citrus, rather lager-like. Palate..plain bitter finish......Overall - quite a nice drinkable beer, not outstanding in taste and aroma, but OK. Easy drinking beer.

Cask@GBBF2010. Ambery golden colour with small off-white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, grass, some quite bittery notes as well as mild floral notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, floral hops as well as quite grassy and earthy. Grassy, hayish and mildly floral aftertaste.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Amber with a dense creamy off-white head; fruity aroma; smooth and creamy texture, almost nitrokeg style but without the gas; dry and fruity with some apricot and orange; well-balanced bitterness but a rather sweet finish. Very pleasant.

Cask-conditioned at the Edgar Wallace, London 3/7/08. Amber coloured with a decent, off-white head. I would agree with the comment below about there being something unpleasant lurking in this beer. It compromised the decent fruity aroma and also was prominent in the finish. The best thing about it was that it was only a half pint.
