440ml can from Hop Vault, Stourbridge, online. Clear gold, small white head, settles to nice covering. Aroma of biscuit malts, stone fruit salad, tangerine, grass. Taste is biscuit, mango, tangerine, apricot, moderate grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied, light dryness. Nice IPA.

[October 2023] Clear pale gold with a frothy/bubbly white head and a soft citrusy nose. Hoppy up front, sweet malt and fruit combine before a touch of dry bitterness pulls through

Hand-pulled pint at the Wrekin Inn on 2nd April 2023. White crown on a pale golden body, clean and clear. Mild citrus front to the nose and taste, some malt action going on too.

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a pale straw with a small white head and good lacing. There’s a curious mixture of autumn fruits and medication in the aroma. It starts of sweet in the mouth, but then traditional hops come through and keep getting stronger until they totally dominate. Some lemongrass too, and the finish is dry and pretty d*mn bitter, It’s a pretty decent IPA, Sheila !

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Light gold, clear with a thin white head. It looks so harmless! Ammonia in the aroma with caramel and some TCP. Sweet taste with some sulphurous bitter notes, letting to a hoppy bitter finish. A nicely crafted old-fashioned UK IPA.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Gloucester Beer Festival 27 April 2018. Golden, with a thin, white, head. Citrus hops, some biscuity malts, tangerine and mango fruit and a dry finish. Pleasant.

Clear golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing down the sides of the glass. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average to soft carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric, malty, mild pine and fruity flavor. A bit mild and quite easy to drink. Very session able.
