Flaska från Hier-gibts-bier.de. Klar bärnstensfärgad vätska med en rejäl skumpuck. Doft av honung och knäckebröd. Mjuk och len, ganska söt med mycket honung, rostade hasselnötter, mjöligt knäckebröd, mjölkchoklad, karamell, söt gul stenfrukt och en rejäl beska med drag av gräs och maskrosblad som ger en torr avslutning och bra balans. Gott och annorlunda.

500 ml bottle. Slightly unclear amber with a big fluffy head. Caramel, roasted nuts, basement notes, some chocolate, light citrus notes, some metal. Malty sweetness, light dry metallic bitterness. Full to medium bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry metallic malty nutty finish. Nice!

Merkendorfer Hummel-Bräu Spezial 1516 - 2016, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Rotgold, klar. - In der Nase tiefe, fein toastige Malzigkeit, ganz zart rauchig, und hintergründig-kernige hopfenwürzig-harzige Hopfung. - Antrunk füllig toastig-malzig mit feiner Karamelbonbonsüße und fränkisch-kräftiger herbaler Herbe mit leichter mediterraner Note und etwas Orangenschale. Zart rauchig. Milder rezent, vollmundig, wie auch andere Hummel-Biere ein wenig hart im Mund. Im Abgang aromatische Hopfenherbe, herbal und orangenherbe, leicht erdig-harzig. - Solides fränkisches Märzen mit kräftiger, etwas rustikaler aber sehr gediegener Hopfung. Prima! (20.9.2021.)

On tap at Brauerei Hummel. Dark orange, medium white head. Malty, sweet, some caramel, smooth. Some bitterness in finish. Somewhat dry. Light to medium bodied.

Bottle. Pale amber color, floral aroma with a hint of caramel, malty sweetish, bready flavor with caramel and floral notes.

Bottle. Dark sweet malt, caramel and mineral, some spice, herbal orange peel bitter hop counterpoint, light mineral and Earth retronasal. Chewy dry and juicy body. Balances out nicely after a few sips.

Bottle @ Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Dusty paperbag and ryebread. BB late sep so a month to go. Finished.
