Cask Gravity at Moira Furnace Folk Festival, Moira, Leics/Derby’ border. Saturday 19th August 2017 Pours hazy warm gold with a slim white rim of bubbles. The bitterness ripples around the gums, citrussy with a little lemon rind, dry finish, pleasant bitter bite throughout, a touch of spice adds a little something to this beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

On cask at Thomsons Bar. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Slight haze. Nose - flowers and grass. Lemon maybe. Taste - lemon dominates. Some grass and pale malt at the back. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Extremely dry. Overall - decent but a bit too bitter for me.

Cask @ Pig & Falcon, St Neots. Light gold with a small bubbly head. It has a high hoppy citric bitterness with grapefruits certainly evident.

Cask (Red House, Newcastle) - Golden with a foamy white head. Grapefruit and lemon in the aroma. The taste is fairly hoppy and bitter with notes of lemon, tea and grapefruit. Not bad, but could do with a bit more balance.
