Clear red - amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Light crispy palate. Sharp minerals. Light creamy malt. Mild tangy dried fruits. Mild minerals. Whisper of nuts. Smooth creamy finish. All right.

Bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. I mean you come across these oddities in shops and go, what the f**k is this and buy it anyway. Clear deep red colour with large rocky beige head. Fruity malty aroma. You know what? Its not bad. It’s not good, but its fine. Presentable. An ok kinda amber best bitter style beer. Some fruit on end. Clean. Likeable. Perfectably acceptable.

Bottled (as Septem Premium Red Ale Beer, Thanks Papsoe!). Hazy ambery brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is toffee, mild floral and frassy notes with some mild wooden bitterness. Flavour is toffee, fruits, wood and some grass along with a mellow bitterness in the finish.

Bottled. A red beer with no head. The aroma has notes of berries, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, butterscotch, and caramel, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of humlelala. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Dry, nutty nose. Light body, dry and clean caramel notes and again a little nutty. Ends dry but not really bitter. A good and clean brew if very unspectacular. 221012

33cl Bottle brought from Syros, Greece. I’d classify this as an amber ale btw. Clear amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malts and nice citrussy and fruity hops, a little zesty. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, caramel, a little toasted malts, good citrussy hoppy finish with some floral notes. Light bodied. Septem makes really nice beers.

330ml bottle as Thursday’s Premium Red Ale Beer served at fine drinking temperature at The House of Beer. Clear amber-red coloured body. Low, beige head. Smell of red oranges and red grapefruit. Taste of red fruits mixed with juicy malts. Modest fruit bitter endnotes. Refreshing and clean in the mouth (Rethymno, 14.08.2012).

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, amber-red with a small, soft white foam head. Aroma is toasted malts, a bit of brown bread, faint tangy berries. Light to medium sweet flavor with further notes of toasted malts, hints of brown sugar, honey and caramel, light piney bitterness, some leaves and light earth. Light to medium bodied with high carbonation. Lightly crisp on the finish with some toasty malts, light caramel, a bit more mild brown sugar, faint dry berries, bread. Pretty basic stuff for the most part, but mostly enjoyable on all fronts. (3.5)

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013 - London. Pours clear amber with a light, white cream head. Simple bready malt aroma. Light sweet flavor with faint caramel and brown bread. Light in body with fine carbonation. Sweet caramel malt finish, more bread. Basic. (3.0)
