It’s zany. Not your average session beer, drinking above it’s strength. The outlandish pale takes your palate to the extreme with a burst of fresh, lemony hoppiness.

Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has a good minerally crispness. Thin malts, a modicum of sweetness. Light touches of citric pith and orange peel. Very mild bitterness. Light crispy finish. Clean and crisp but some more hops required!

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Clear, lighter golden colour with a small head. Its hops are light with a dryness and has a thinnish texture with a very mild fruitiness attached. Lemon citrus is just about evident in its nose.

Bottle [from trade with minutemat] @ home. Clear golden color, full sized rough white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, lightly hoppy. Taste malts, lightly hops, lightly bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Don’t get any lemon, it’s an ok session beer, but a bit boring.

Bottle. A big off-white head leaves lacings over an unclear, golden-orange body. Dusty, yeasty aroma with citrus peel. Citrus peel, pine cones, bitterness, yeast and chalk in the quite bitter flavor. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Short finish. Sure a beer I don’t need to repeat, not clean at all. 140418
