Our collaboration with Beavertown Brewery. This is a light, clean, crisp saison with a subtle honey and spice note. With a delicate fresh aroma this is a very refreshing saison.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is aspirin citrus. The flavour is light acid aspirin mineral with a dry earthy lemon citrus acid palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation.

350ml bottle: shared between 4 at the September 2014 Shrewsbury beer exchange. Poured a cloudy gold with a white crown. The nose was slightly yeasty and bready with a squeezed lemon rind hint. Flavours were again bready and yeast but with less lemon rind and some spiciness. Detected no honey or fig traces. Found it OK though, if a little strange.

Nose is tarte apricot, citric sherbet, tangerine, gras, lemon rind. Taste comprises tangerine, damp hay, light spice, lemon peel, yeast esters, bitter orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok saison.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Paul for sourcing this one. Pours hazy gold with a thick, creamy off-white head. The nose holds lightly doughy pale bread, honeydew, hay, melon. Light-medium sweet flavor with some grains and hay, doughy white bread, light yeast, rindy lemon. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation and an airy mouthfeel. Light sweet flavor with husky grains, slight lemon meringue, straw. Good stuff.
