Can thanks to Dave, split at the Hazlemere lockdown 2 tasting, 04/09/20. Clear orange to golden with a decent off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is ripe citric flesh, orange pith, grapefruit, pine needle. Taste comprises ripe melon, bitter orange, trace of weed, pine dusting, grass, grapefruit, mixed citric pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive hop bittereness. Solid DIPA ... easy drinking slightly old skool leaning boost juice.

Clear bronze-gold color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky partial rings of lacing. Aroma of piney hops, citrus and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of piney hops, pithy grapefruit and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering citrusy hop aftertaste. Good IPA all around.

My can was oxidised which really affected the flavour. This is a showcase of water treatment and American malts and C hops. So hoppy. Can just smash this all day if fresh. Lemony tangerine grapefruit flavour. Killer beer. Would be amazing fresh.

On tap at Gourmet Haus in Redwood City. Aroma is strong orange. Very slightly hazed and pours light orange with full white head. Flavor is orange and back half of palate has great resins. Resins add to a full mouthfeel. I like the regular Pliny better as the DDH

Can at home in Hackney - sourced via trade. Pours clear honey-gold, effervescent, with a frothy, pure white head. Medium sweet flavour with lightly crackery pale malts, biscuits, light pine, semi-ripe orange, some citrus rind, light alcohol. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming and lightly resinous in the finish, further sun-kissed pale malts, sturdy bitterness, some more pine, orange rind, background ripening citrus fruits, a hint of grass. Really well put together from top to bottom.

Sample thanks to Cloin: Poured a murky brown maroon with a off white bubble head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy, piney, citrus. Taste is hoppy, citrus, bitter, grapefruit.

Can in the blåbær queue thanks to Martin. Clear yellow colour, dank hoppy aroma. Bitter finish, really nice west coast.

28/9/2020. Sample shared by SHIG. Pours clear amber bronze with a big bubbly off-white head. Aroma of stone fruits and tropical fruits, caramel, resin. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Full body, smooth, soft carbonation. Rich and fruity piney finish. Wanted more.
