Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is chocolate cake, roasted malt, cocoa, some hazelnut with additional nutty notes, mocha, touch of coffee. Flavour is sweet with a moderate bitterness. Full and thick body. Wonderful stuff, rich and complete.

0,33 l can. Found can way back in the fridge. Possibly one of the last in existence... :D Pours almost exactly like old car oil, thick and almost black. With a finger of brown frothy head. Aroma of toasted malts, dried fruit, coffee, cocoa, molasses and caramel, some fusel alcohol, but not too heavy. Taste is really heavy sweet and medium to heavy bitter. Body is thick and oily, carbonation gentle. Finish is long, sweetness and heavy toasted malt bitterness, light alcohol burn on the tongue. All in all I really like it, somewhat out of my usual beer, but rich in taste and really nice for a cold windy day. Was one of the last in existence...

Can @ Patricks. Black body under a big, fading beige head. Strong aroma av dark malt, hazelnuts, milk chocolate and hint of vanilla and coffee. Taste has smooth dark malt, dark chocolate, hazelnuts and some bitter, roasted coffee. Fine body with long lasting sweet and pleasant aftertaste. A nice pastry stout where the beer itself is nice preserved.

Can. Pitch black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is nutty, some toasted and mild toffee tones. Flavour is sweet malts, roasted tones with nutty, lactose and mild alcohol sweetness as well as some slight chocolaty tones. Creamy.

Can. Black with a brief brown head. Aroma is nutty - hazelnuts obvious, macadamias not -singed caramel, some roast and chocolate. But much more prominent roast upon a taste makes the considerable sweetness sit back a bit. But so do the nuts, unhappily. But they're still quite nice - often hazelnuts seem artificial in beer, but not here. There's enough bitterness at the end to lighten it and keep it very drinkable.
