Too clean is sterile. Too precise is boring. Edges keep things interesting. Distortion fills the void.

Can on the train from Kyle Of Localsh to Inverness, thanks to Nigel, 10/10/21. Very lightly hazed golden orange with an off white covering that clears to a swirl. Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, airy malts, pineapple. Taste comprises melon, grass, light pine nip, tangerine, soft malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with mellow juicy hop bitteress. Decent session fayre.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Moor Beer Vaults, Bermondsey. Pours hazy dark orange-gold with a creamy, white head. Lightly sweet with pleasant, clean pale malts, some rounded and pretty fresh citrus fruits, tangerine, orange, a little melon, mild piney bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more pine, light resin, more citrus rind. Overall, very drinkable.

Can from Beer52. Bright, clear gold with a craggy white head - it's a nice looker. Smells of stone fruits with a wisp of pine. Full, slightly resinous mouthfeel. Taste is mango, blackberry and an earthy bitterness. A very good SIPA indeed; maybe could just tune down the earthiness and make it a little crisper to be truly great.

Cloudy gold with a bubbly off-white head and a soft citrusy aroma. Has a spritzy, bubbly mouthfeel, light body, grapefruit up front, followed by a sharp kick, and a mellow dry finish, a little bit fruity and a little bit biscuit malty

Rocky white head left a foamy cover on an unclear pale gold body. Malt, pine & citrus aroma. Medium bodied, sharp & dry with a clean back. Bitter, pithy, pine, grapefruit & citrus tastes. Refreshing Sesh.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A slightly hazy pale amber pour with a tight white head; apricot aroma; tropical fruit taste with some orange and mango; and a pleasantly sharp fruity finish. Clean and refreshing.

Can @Sam Beer Shop (Rome). Dorata, leggermente torbida, schiuma bianca medio-leggera, non molto persistente. Al naso note agrumate, di arancia, leggero citrico, erbacee. In bocca è morbida, equilibrata, con spunto amaro finale medio-leggero. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Ok.
