Getreidiger, hefig herber Beginn. Geringe Süße, helles Malz, eher trocken, konstant hopfig bleibend, rund. Mittellanger Abgang, gefällt. 8/9/9/8//9

A slightly hazy golden yellow beer with a big white head. Aroma of mild citrusy hops, flowers, pale malt, yeast. Taste of stone fruits, dry grainy malt, citrusy hops, moderate bitterness.

Can. Comptoir Belge, Brussels Hazy yellow gold. Slim sticky white foam. Nose has oats. Weed. A usual mushroom thing going on. Not sure what that’s about. Bit of a cardboard thing too. Taste is pretty sweet and oaty. Some fusty citrus bitterness. Not as good as expected tbh.

(Draught at Gist, Brussels, 19 Oct 2023) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with citrus, peaches, grass and bread. Malty, fruity taste with notes of peaches, citrus, orange peel, white bread, soft malt and a balanced citric/grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh, juicy and well balanced. Very nice.

Tap at source for Rich's 50th. A hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a a sticky white head. Aroma is dank, pithy citrus, wheat, tangerine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, flaked wheat, tangerine, mellow dank, grassy citrus. Palate is crisp, highish carbonation.

Tap at L’Ermitage Taproom, Brussels, 8th November 23. Pours a light hazy yellow. Aroma is citrus, lemon sherbert. Taste is bitter, dry sherbert, lemon, citrus pith and aromatic. Nice

[2/17/23] Draught at L'Ermitage in Brussels. Murky yellow. Fruity hops, yeast, fruity esters, a bit spicy, slightly sweetish, bitter finish.

Tap @L'Ermitage, Saint Gilles, BXL. Cloudy golden, white froth. Mild tropical fruit aroma. Hoppy bitter flavour, mango, pineapple. Malty sweet finish. Nice and fresh.
