Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Lightly hazy orange color, full sized decently lasting off-white head. Absolutely delicious hops, fruit hops, grapefruit, tropical fruits. Taste lightly malts, lightly grapefruit, tropical fruits, hops, fruit hops, subtly bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Fantastic golden blonde ale. Superb!

Old Fountain. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Mild minerals, Semi dry. Start with a floral minty vibe and develops a little candy fruits. Quickly replaced by a floral orange and a touch of peel bitterness. Light mint returns before a mildly crisp finish. Mild bitter linger. Interesting flavour profile.

Tap @ In De Wildeman. Cloudy golden blonde color. Big white head. Aroma’s: resinous, citrus, with light vegetables retronasal. Flavor is moderate bitter with some fruity sourness. Light bodied, not thin. Finishes with herbal hops, rather bitter, dry.

Tap @ In de Wildeman, medium sample. Aroma of fresh hop, grapefruit, citrus, slight biscuity malt. Medium bitter in taste, slight malty. Cascade dominating the beer. I dont know if this would be a true golden ale, it seems more like a session IPA almost, albeit not that aggressive perhaps. Wonderfully tasty anyhow.

Bottle at BBNo during my 40th birthday crawl, 11/10/14. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is floral hop, citric jam, orange, lemon rind, soft bread. Taste comprises citric pith, mandarin, tangy orange, orange pith, soft bread dough, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop rinse and trace of minerals. Solid GB, some may call it SIPA !

Bottle at home in London - sourced from the brewery. Pours mostly clear, rich gold with a frothy white head that settles into a cream. The aroma has rounded, citrusy hops with hints of lemon rind, tangerine, some lightly bready pale malts, hints of hay. Light-medium sweet flavor with lightly grainy pale bread, soft doughy biscuits, more juicy, citrusy hop character, some orange, tangerine and grapefruit, hints of grain and grass bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and silky texture. Finishes with lightly bitter citrus rind, somewhat more muted citrus juice, heightened bitter grass, some earth, a bit of balancing pale malt sweetness. Very drinkable beer overall.
