Can from Aeon Liquor in Sapporo. Pours a hazy, gold with a finger of off-white foam that lingers. Big iyokan aromas with natsumikan zest, pith and a touch of plum. Palate shows more citrus zest and pith. Drying finish with a bitter, pithy lingering note. Enjoyable.

0,33l can from Japan, shared with wiosna @ home. Pours hazy yellow with a medium head. Aroma is sweet fruity malts. Flavor is sweet fruity malts with some hops. Decent.

Bottle: pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is slightly aged for aure, but orangey citrus is mostly what I am getting. Taste is sweetish, some light bitterness. Wonder what it would be like fresher. Basically fine.

Bottle. Pretty modestly hazy orange with an inch of white head. 3+ Aroma of grapefruit peel, crackers, some mandarin, papaya. So it tastes. Dryish, perhaps a little weak in the middle and with more modest bitterness than I'd like. But another good one.

Aromas of mango, papaya and grapefruit. Nice tangy bitterness in the mouth. Rich mouthfeel and good length. I can feel the alcohol a little in my throat, but otherwise it's great.

My son Ben went to Hong Kong late last year and brought me back three beers, all Japanese, this 350ml can was one of them. So, a Japanese NEIPA. Why label a beer under 'ISEKADO' if your brewery is called Ise Kadoya? Doesn't help finding it on our data base. I actually thought this was fine, hazy orange with a white head. Fruity with a citrus front.

Tap at Komachi. Nose is grapefruit slush, lychee, strawberry. Lovely, hzy golden color. Flavor is tangy and zesty, with some old, over-ripe, almost nasty tropical fruit like durian and old mango, creamy, grapefruit. Very ripe and fruity. Nice one.
