At a tasting, thanks, smallish head, hazy light orange color, aroma of wood, cactus, sweat, sour bread, flavor of herbs and shrubs with maybe a hint of fruit in the back, dumb bitterness, hint of tannin. Drinkable but had better from BBNO.

330ml bottle from the Lion’s Den, Yarm. Hazy orange amber colour, frothy white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of tropical fruit, mango, citrus, hoppy. Taste is malt caramel balanced with tropical passionfruit, zesty & juicy citrusy notes, and grapefruit bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry hoppy bitter finish. Very drinkable session IPA.

Bottle from the Grumpy Goat, Reading. Huge amount of sediment in the bottle, but with much careful effort I managed to pour it with only a slight haze. Deep gold in hue with a thin but lasting white head. Big whiff of peach and passion fruit. Nicely light and frothy on the mouth. The flavour is maybe not quite up to the aroma- the tropical fruits are still there but are challenged by a pine bitterness. It’s still pretty damn good though. A tasty happy summer beer- nice one!!
