(Bottle) Pours clear golden amber with small white head. Pleasant aroma of toffee with notes of pine and orange. Medium body with nice fine carbonation. Good taste. Starts with a rich toffee and fruitiness and ends with some nice hoppy bitterness. Fruitiness is reminiscent of orange but subtle. Very nice.

Bottle, bb 5/24. Amber with an inch of white head that lasts pretty well. Floral grapefruit aroma with kumquat, breadcrust. So it tastes. Just medium bodied. Some light sweetness, lots of punchy citrus, firm bitterness. Fine drop.

330ml bottle, drunk by the river on a balmy Summer's evening. Hazed amber orange appearance, good white head. Fruity caramel and orange aroma. Taste is smooth on the palate, moderately sweet with some caramel coming through alongside fruity apricot and citrus. Not bad.

Got in an order the other day... Ise Kadoya IPA 6.5% Clear copper gold with a pretty dense off-white head. This brew has a very fragrant fresh citrusy hop bouquet. Medium to light in body with a pretty dry finish and a citrus zest hoppiness and somewhat woodsy piney flavor. The carbonation is a bit aggressive but otherwise this is a solid bitter west coast type IPA.

Bottle from Yamaoka. Nice hoppy nose, orange, peach, melon, mango, light dankness. Medium orange-amber, clear, with a medium head. Crisp and clean West Coast style, nicely fruity, rich malts but not caramelly, some honey and biscuits though, citrus and tropical fruit. Rather full body. Well done.
