The IPA was fashioned to survive the long voyage from England to India during the British colonization. Hops, hops and more hops! Red Betty IPA has an intense aroma and a long lingering finish. A beer for the connoisseur, this is the brewmaster's choice.

Sweet malt and citrus hops in the nose. Very punchy and fresh tasting hop medley, featuring citrus, grapefruit, pine and orange elements. Soft bready malt underneath completes the classic west coast IPA profile. Significant carbonation pumps up the taste. \"Juicy and fresh\" - the great descriptor of superior West Coast IPAs!

Clear copper pour, medium white head, thick lacing. Very pine resinous aroma, with some good citrus notes. Solid bready malts, some light grasses and cereals. Medium bitterness, resinous finish.

From a 500ml can on 7/1/2020 Pours a clear deep golden with a medium head. Has a big resinous hoppy nose. Tastes of sweet caramel, bread and biscuit malt, which is met by a thunderous, clanging hop bitterness - masses of pine and resin which coats the tongue and lingers long. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A flavour packed old school IPA which has a lot going for it. Could just use a shade more balance, but still nice stuff. Great artwork on the can too.

Can. Clear orangish amber with a large white head. Aroma of pine, caramel and grapefruit. Medium bodied, somewhat creamy texture. Not as sweet as expected with more bread crust than caramel notes. Plenty of citrus and pine but it builds rather than thwacks. Firmly bitter finish. There were many cruder examples of this sort of thing around a decade ago. Good.

Foggy deep gold. Decent head. Nose: honey, malts, sugared fruit, some dank. Medium body. Taste: solid malt base. Pronounced still soft hop bitterness. Pleasant ending. Good.

Bready malt, piney hop. Goeie bitterheid. Klassiek amerikaanse ipa met ook redelijk wat moutigheid om de boel te dragen

355ml can. Crystal clear, amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, fairly lacing, white head. Resinous, piney and citrusy, minimally soapy, hoppy aroma, notes of pine, lemon peel, some orange, mandarine, caramel malty background. Taste is crisp, bitter, resinous, piney and citrusy hoppy, slightly sweet caramel malty basis, notes of pine, lemon peel, orange peel, mandarine; lingering, piney and bitter hoppy finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate. Very clean - paradigmatic West Coast IPA.
