Bottled@SBWF2014. Deep ambery brown colour, small head. Aroma is smoked notes, some wooden, earthy and fruity notes to it. Flavou ri ssmoked wet wood, earth, some floral notes, mild ashes as well as some slight roasted and chocolaty notes. Balanced, and would suit a traditional Xmas food table really well.

Bottle shared during the RBESG 2014 London Grand Tasting - Moncada Brewery. Pours deep brown with a large, foamy tan head. Dry and earthy with dried berries and moderate toasted bread. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Over-carbonated, in fact. Earth and roasty to finish. So so.

330ml can, shared by djoeye. Massive bubbly fawn-coloured head slowly reduced to a filmy layer. Cloudy dark rustic coloured body. Herbal hops together with dried fruits and earthy malts on the nose. Similar taste of dried fruits, red orange, and brown malts added by a spicy touch. Dry malty ending. Medium bodied. Not quite out of season, it was, in fact, snowing outside (Tromsø 14.05.2014).
