Bottle. Clear golden ale with a bubbly white head. Not much aroma. Flavour is standard bitter. Bitter, hoppy and a touch of fruit. Not much else to it, and this bottled version is watery compared to cask but it’s alright.

500ml bottle. Clear, copper colour with a thin white head. Sweet, malt aroma, taste is sweet, syrupy with a bitter finish. Not unlike a macro lager tbh. Unremarkable, but ok

Bottle from Asda, Enniskillen [240815]
Dark amber, clear, frothy white head, slight lacing
Aroma - dab of caramel, bit artificial fruit notes, not much on the nose overall
Taste of light caramel, some odd fruit notes, cardboardy, not much flavour and what’s there is poor
Palate - Medium carb, light body, soft sweet, watery. Finish is slightly dry, hint of bitter twigs in the tail
Overall - Difficult to drink this as the flavour is very poor. Not worth a £1 a bottle. Crap.

From bottle. Golden orange color with off white head. Malty grainy aroma, caramel, bread, light hoppy, grassy. Sweet and bitter taste. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation

500ml bottle from a supermarket. Pours a clear amber with bubbly white foam head. Light caramel aroma. Taste is a bit one-dimensional with light, soft caramel malts. A standard old-school pale.

Bottle. Asda. Got this in for Father. Clear amber. Decent, lasting, white head. Lots of caramel malt. Light grassiness. A bit nutty. Taste is more of that. Smooth palate, albeit a bit papery, and thin. Finishes soft sweet. Some dry. Far removed from drinking this straight from the cask at the Keys, many moons ago...

Bright clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is minerally crisp and dry. Clean dry pale malt. Light touch of citric hops. Finishes dry with a little raw malt. Not too bad, tad dry though.

Bottle shared - cheers Steven. Sadly another boring brown beer! Watery, if anything.
