From bottle at Mout Bierfestival Nijmegen 2020. Coconut has disappeared to the background. Good whisky barrel impression with coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, touch of liquorice and syrup. Sweet and oaky, roasty bitter. Full body. Great, though I liked the base beer just a bit better for the coconut.

Bottle shared by Wendigo at BBT 9/2024. Very full body, light carbonation. High roasty bitterness, high warmth, a bit bothersome, especially in finish, lacking a bit of balance. Lots of residual sweetness, but in taste balance it is rather background. Lots of tobacco in flavour, chocolate, also unfortunately unpleasant coffee - I hate normally brewed coffee just dumped into beer. Overall messy, rough. Still good, but not great.

Bottled. Black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, some liquorice, coconut, mild vanilla, almost some tonka bean like elements with a bit wooden tones too. Flavour is liquorice, some alcohol, coconut, chocolate, more alcohol and liquorice to it.

18/6/22: BD 15062020. Brownish black, fine brown foam, bit gluggy. Smell is sweet, lotsa chocolate and sweet coconut, subtle barrel. Thick and creamy body, bit boozy end. Taste is not just sweet, some good roast at first, then alcoholic barrel, ending on Bounty.
25/1/23: BD 15062020. Very dark brownish black, looks pretty thick. Smells roasty, sweet, milky chocolate, coconut lessened. Nicely thick body, bit of sharp carbonation, quite boozy. Taste is a bit more bitter than I recall, lots of barrel. Lost some softness.

Bottle. Pours very dark with a small head. Aroma is dark malts, coffee, molasses, rich chocolate, coconut, really complex aroma. Big body, smooth. Flavour is very complex, loads of different dark malts with lots of coffee (interesting medium roast coffee flavours), chocolate, caramel, molasses. Coconut, oak, vanilla, light whisky notes. Amazing, lovely twist on the already amazing cocobänger. Coconut is definitely way less showcased here, but an amazing beer.
