From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Decadent chocolate vanilla aroma with a touch of marshmallows. Roast, nutty with almonds. Fudge. Pretty sweet with some bitterness, some warming booze in the finish. Full body. Heavy, sugary, diabetes in a glass, nice indulgence.

Ppurs black with a brown head, little retention. Aroma's: sweet, vanilla, molasses, marshmallow, light roast. Retronasal: sweet, vanilla, marshmallow, a touch of fruit, perhaps some nuts. Flavour is moderate heavy sweet, lactose, milk chocolate. Above medium bodied. Long finish without any new flavours.

Can at the 'Should have been at Pig's Ear' tasting, from Beerdome online, 04/12/20. Black with a well presented tan cap that dissipates in time to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, sweet malts, vanilla, brown sugar melt, light roast. Taste comprises chocolate, toffee crisp, rocky road vibes, vanilla, sweet malts. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light rising boost. Not bad.

Sample thanks to Cloin: Poured a dark black with a off white to tan head. Aroma is vanilla, cocoa, almond, pasty. Taste is chocolate, molasses, coffee bean, vanilla, roasted malts.

Can at not a tasting,. Thanks to Colin for this one. 4/12/2020. A clear reddy brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is woody roast, coffee, nutty hazelnut, jammy fruits,. Flavour is composed semi sweet, maple mellow earthy roast, chocolate, chestnut, woody coffee, Warming spicy alcohol. Palate is semi sweet, sticky moderate carbonation.
