Een mooie robijnrode dubbel, met de geur van rijp rood fruit en caramel. De smaken van caramel en gebrande mout zijn harmonisch en verfijnd. Zijn afdronk is licht zoetig en bitterig, een abdijbier waardig. 6,5% vol.

Tap at the Scrapyard, Alkmaar. Poured a clear amber colour with a thin broken off white head head. The aroma is biscuit malt, caramel, toffee. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a crisp, toffee, light fruity, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Tap at de moerseleutal. A hazed reddy caramel brown coloured pour with a a fine beige head. Aroma is dry brown bread, jammy, red berries. Flavour is composed of semi sweet z dusty rye bread, jammy fruits, Palate is dry and dusty, moderate carbonation.

Thuis uit een flesje. Mooie donkere rood bruine kleur, goed beige schuim. Smaak goed, niet te zoet en te zwaar, eerder een wat lichte dubbel. Prima.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een roodbruin bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een kruidige geur. De smaak is moutig en kruidig.

cloudy brown, small white head. boozy yeasty aroma. flavor is nutty, malty, good malty bitterness. slighly boozy but it suits the beer well.
