Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, straw, citrus fruits, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a dense, white head. Clean, malty nose with a whiff of aromatic hops. Medium body, a very clean maltiness with a subtle but sophisticated hopping. Not much bitterness though. Clean and well brewed if rather unspectacular. 161113

Bottle at home. Courtesy of ClubGonzo. Slightly cloudy, dark orange colour with a medium, white head. Aroma of dried fruit, fruity hops, wood and caramel. Fruity flavour with some berries, apricot and fruity hops. Has a slick mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A decent vienna with a fruity and hoppy touch.

Very hazy gold beer, big fluffy white head. Light crispy palate, semi dry. Bready malt. Minerals. Touch of spicy hops with a little citrus. Crisp finish. Standard stuff, a touch dull.

330 ml bottle. Practically clear golden body with a huge off-white head. Not much aroma here, a bit malty and slightly fruity if really optimistic. Flavor is sweet malty, but seems to lack body and depth for a balance. For me this is just like a boring Vienna and not much different from the Norwegian industrial Christmas beer for grocery shops. Lots of really nice beers available from Lervig, but this one is not a celebration worthy.

Flaske kjøpt på bryggeriet: aroma av malt, pepper og litt grapefrukt. Opp fra det voldsomt storboblete skum (som fyller 2/3 av mitt Duvel-glass) stiger en aroma av malt, pepper og grapefrukt. Middels bitterhet. Mye smak for 4,7. Ser gjerne denne som en del av deres faste repertoar.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2013. Pours hazy golden with a frothy white head. Peach, grass, bread and mild grain. Hoppy and refreshing!

Bottle. A lightly unclear one, golden in color, with a small, dense off-white head. The aroma is quite boring, especially considering the anniversary. There’s some sweetness, fruits and grass. Equally boring flavor, with some bitterness. Full body, pleasant carbonation. The finish pretty much the same. Not much of an anniversary beer, but far from bad. 130906
