Bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge. Purple/light brown, cloudy. Smells of artificial grape juice and powdered candy. Extremely sweet taste with a fruity note... not a sour tang mind, just a suggestion of sugared fruit drink. Short to medium finish. Kind of disappointing.

9th September 2015
Mild gusher. Murky brown - amber beer, good pale tan head. Nose of bitter caramel and brackish water, some cherry and raspberry. Palate is light and fairly dry, mild fine carbonation. Bitter caramel malts, a brackish bitterness. Dry and bitterish raspberry - cherry. Semi dry finish. Fairly unpleasant and surely not right?

[10/11/13] Bottle at Arend’s Nest in Amsterdam. Nice deep red color. Decent cherry aroma, slightly candy-ish. Sweet flavor of cherries, light graininess, sugary hints and a light tart note. Light to medium-bodied. Kinda OK, but not very good.

Bottle @ Arendsnest, shared by Riita. Dark red-brown color. Off white to pinkish head. Aroma’s: cherries, almonds with some fruity sourness retronasal. Flavor is only lightly sweet, fruity, cherries. Medium bodied. Fruity finish. Not bad actually.

33cl bottle @ home shared with my girlfriend. Hazy reddish color, small off-white to pinkish head that disappears quickly. Smell sweetness, strawberries and cherries. Taste malts, cherries, sweetness and strawberry-cherry-jam. Sweetness and cherries aren’t overwhelming so this is quite decent imo. Soft carbonation, low to medium body.
