Bottle, 66cl. It pours a really dark brown and unclear body and a small beige head. The aroma has roasted malts, some burnt notes and brown sugar, with alcohol and dried fruits. It’s full-bodied, lightly warming and smooth on the palate, with some sweetness. Roasted malts and other dark malt flavors run the show flavor-wise, with some bourbon and wood in the back. Dark dried fruits, brown sugar, a touch of coffee and a wee caramel hint. Lasting finish. Sure a fine brew, but it didn't really catch my attention. 200704

Bottle. Color: Black,light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, mocha, Bourbon, boozy and vanilla. Taste: Roasted malt, sweetish, vanilla, slightly boozy Bourbon, some mocha and coffee. Hints of nuts at finish, slightly fruity hints of dark fruit. Rather thin body, although the used oats are clearly present. Smooth en bit sticky mouthfeel. Somehow reminds me of 'Chocomel mocha chocolate milk'. Nicely balanced. Over moderate sweet and moderate bitter, somewhat more bitterness at finish. Below average carbonation. Taste is nice, but medium body is too thin for a Bourbon BA Stout in my opinion. Still a nice beer to enjoy.
