500ml bottle from sourced market St Pancras, shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear red-amber, thin off-white head. Aromas of grapefruit, light red fruit, pine. Taste is woody pine bitterness, some light yeast, caramel/crystal malt. Light sweetness. Bitter linger.

Cask at the brewpub, one-third pint. Deep mahogany coloured body. Naked surface. Minimal lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet brown malts. Caramel malty taste joined by nuts and earth. Malty bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Nice and smooth in the mouth (London 26.09.2014).

Bouteille: Almost clear, lively carbonation, big loose to creamy off-White head that very slowly collapses; distinctive hoppy-fruity nose (exotic fruits) over a caramelly-nutty Background; quite robust bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, n o t soft; lingering dryish fruity-hoppy finish with some balancing caramelly-malty notes. A fine session beer...

Cask at the Fawcett, Camden Town, London on 6th June 2013. Copper with buff head. Caramel malt aroma. Bitter grassiness meets caramel malt in-mouth. The aftertaste is grassy, fruity with toffee flavour; some bitterness develops late. Light mouthfeel.
