Draught @ The Draft House, Tower Brigde, London. Pours dark amber with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, brown sugar, fruity hops, peach. Flavor is malt, caramel, grass, fruity hops. Medium body, soft carbonation. 210913

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, caramel, and malt, leading to a dry finish.

Appearance: Hazy amber color with a small tan head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Grape hoppy and fine tropical fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a fine fresh bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Nice mild tropical fruity, mild grape hoppy and a fine malty back.
Overall impression: Ahhh what a really great Bitter! Come on you London Fields.

Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Common London Beer Festival July 2013 - Le Gothique. Pours mostly clear amber with a frothy, white cream head. Ripe citrus in the nose, some hearty bread. Light sweet flavor with pine, orange, toast. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition. Ripe oranges in the finish, toasted bread, faint earth and pine. Great stuff. One of the top beers of the festival for me.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Deep reddish amber with a cream head; floral aroma; soft floral malt taste with some herbal hops giving a fresh bitterness. Pleasant, but rather ordinary.

Bottle thanks to Colin. Pours reddish brown with off white head. Nose and taste of Bartlett pear, toasted caramel, grainy malt and light toast. Medium body. Finishes mildly bitter. Soft carbonation.

Bottle 330ml.Unclear - hazy matt medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange - citrus, light yeasty, UK yeast. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, orange, zest bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130326]
