Bottle from Delirium, Brussels. It pours clear blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is bready, sponge cake, rich tea biscuit, mellow oak, slightly medicinal, white sugar and donuts. The taste is initially dry, woody, raw alcohol, boozey heat, tannin, green veg, toasty grains, cereal, not much smoke to speak of, biscuit, sponge cake, white sugars, tannin, estery, melon and candied apple with a drying, raw finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Quite rough. Raw alcohol vibes. A bit okay, but not particularly smokey..

Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk with Nelson Slight haze gold colour. Lasting white head light oak light smoke. Mostly s citrus Belgian ale. It's not great. I expected some more strong flavours. It's about ok.

Bottle, 8.5%. Citric aroma, faintly smokey. Clear shiny golden colour. Very big white head. The flavour is citric and sweetish with a peaty smoke note. Very high carbonation. Sweetish peat finish.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Clear pale golden colour, huge moussy white head, good retention, good lacing. Aroma sweet malts, grain, some vanilla, faint bacon and smoke, yeast, straw. Retronasal more smokiness but still weak for a rauchbier. Taste above medium sweet, slightly bitter, malty, grain, yeast, candy sugar, light vanilla, hint of bacon. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation, sweet aftertaste, some alcohol, overall an artificial impression, hardly a rauchbier more or less a regular but too sweet Belgian blond, acceptable.
